China Condemns US President Trump for Escalating Iran-Israel Conflict, Offers to Mediate

China has sharply criticized US President Donald Trump for exacerbating tensions in the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict. A spokesperson from the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Guo Jiakun, responded to Trump’s recent statements and actions, emphasizing that escalating rhetoric will only worsen the situation.

Addressing the media, Guo Jiakun stated, “Adding fuel to the fire and fanning the flames will not help reduce tensions, but will only spread the conflict further.” He underscored that threats and aggressive posturing are not viable paths to peace in the volatile Middle East region.

China reiterated its commitment to diplomacy, emphasizing that it remains the only solution to de-escalate the crisis. The Chinese government expressed willingness to play a mediating role to bring calm and stability to the region.

This statement from Beijing followed President Trump’s warning to Iranian citizens to evacuate Tehran immediately amid growing fears of escalating violence. Trump had shared a social media post urging Iranians to leave the capital, which Beijing sees as a provocative move rather than a peace effort.

China’s call for dialogue and restraint contrasts with the US approach, highlighting growing international concern over the risk of a wider conflict and the importance of multilateral efforts to resolve the crisis peacefully.
