Erdogan Offers Flood Relief Support to Pakistan in Call with PM Shehbaz

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephonic conversation on Thursday, during which the Turkish leader expressed condolences over the loss of life and property caused by recent floods in Pakistan.

President Erdogan conveyed his solidarity with the Pakistani people, assuring that Turkey stands ready to provide all possible assistance in relief and rehabilitation efforts. He said that in times of hardship, Turkey will continue to extend its full support to Pakistan.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked President Erdogan for his kind words and generous offer of support. He highlighted that the telephone call was yet another reflection of the deep, historic, and brotherly ties between Pakistan and Turkey.

“The two countries have always stood by each other in moments of trial and difficulty,” Shehbaz noted, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations.

The exchange underscores the close diplomatic and humanitarian cooperation between Islamabad and Ankara, with both nations reiterating their resolve to work together for mutual support and regional stability.
