Former Bar Association President, Two Others Killed in Jhang Firing

A tragic shooting claimed the lives of three people, including former Bar Association president Munir Sadhana, in Jhang on Saturday. The incident occurred when two armed men on a motorcycle opened fire on his vehicle near Gojra Road.

Police report that Munir Sadhana and his driver were killed on the spot. Two lawyers travelling with him were injured, one of whom succumbed to injuries en route to the hospital, while the other remains under treatment at DHQ Hospital.

The Inspector General of Punjab has taken notice of the incident and requested an immediate report from the Regional Police Officer (RPO). According to local police, the attack appears to stem from an old enmity, and investigations are ongoing.

DPO Bilal Iftikhar Kiani assured the public that the perpetrators will be arrested and brought to justice. The shooting has sent shockwaves through the legal community, with widespread grief and anger over the targeted killing of a prominent lawyer.

Authorities are urging the public to cooperate with the ongoing investigation to ensure swift justice.
