At least four people were killed and two others injured in a remote-controlled explosion near a vehicle in Tehsil Nal, Khuzdar district of Balochistan, police confirmed on Wednesday. The attack, reportedly targeting tribal figures, has raised concerns over security in the region.

Explosion in Khuzdar – What We Know So Far

According to police officials, the explosion was triggered remotely, indicating a premeditated attack. While the exact target remains unclear, authorities believe it was an attempt to assassinate tribal leaders.

The injured were immediately transported to Nal and Khuzdar Teaching Hospitals for medical treatment. Law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area, and an investigation is currently underway to determine the perpetrators behind the attack.

Balochistan CM Condemns the Attack

Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti strongly condemned the blast and expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives.

In a statement, he directed authorities to ensure the best medical care for the injured and reiterated his government’s resolve to combat terrorism.

"Terrorism will be eradicated in all its forms. Elements hostile to peace will fail in their nefarious objectives," CM Bugti asserted.

Balochistan has witnessed multiple terrorist attacks in recent months, with militants frequently targeting security forces, government officials, and civilians. The government has vowed to intensify counterterrorism operations to restore peace in the region.
