POLITICS & POLICY MAKING

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman launched a scathing attack on the United States during a Gaza Solidarity March held at Kacheri Chowk in Multan, declaring that America is not only shielding Israel but is also an “equal partner in the killing of Palestinians.”
Addressing a large gathering of supporters, Hafiz Naeem said the Palestinian people are bravely resisting global powers, and emphasized that Jamaat-e-Islami would organize the biggest march in Pakistan’s history on April 20 in support of Gaza.
"The people of Palestine are not just fighting Israel, they are standing up against the entire global system of oppression,” he stated, accusing the United States of enabling Israeli atrocities through its military and political support.
“The rulers and opposition alike must understand — America is loyal to no one. It uses nations and leaders for its agenda and discards them afterward,” Hafiz Naeem asserted.
He reiterated his party’s commitment to raising the voice for the oppressed and said that the 20th April march would mark a turning point in Pakistan’s public solidarity with Gaza.
“The United States has its hand on Israel’s head. It is complicit in the genocide of Palestinians,” he added, urging the international community and Muslim nations to break their silence and take a firm stance against Israeli aggression.
The Gaza March in Multan is part of a nationwide series of protests being led by Jamaat-e-Islami, as the party calls for decisive action and an end to what it terms a “global conspiracy of silence” over Israeli war crimes in Gaza.
As the humanitarian crisis in Gaza deepens, political and religious groups across Pakistan continue to rally support, condemning the West’s support for Israel and calling for immediate ceasefire and justice for the victims.
