Imran Khan Condemns KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur's Remarks About Journalists

In a recent informal conversation with journalists at Adiala Jail, Imran Khan, the founder and chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), condemned the remarks made by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur about journalists. Khan stated that Gandapur's comments were inappropriate and expressed his disapproval of the language used by the Chief Minister.
Khan emphasized that journalists, despite working under significant pressure, are performing an important role and should be respected. He clarified that he does not support Gandapur's disparaging remarks, which have sparked considerable backlash from the journalist community.
On September 8, Chief Minister Gandapur made controversial statements about journalists during a meeting in Islamabad, using offensive language that provoked a strong reaction from the media. The journalist community has called for an apology from Gandapur, and PTI leaders Barrister Gohar and Asad Qaiser have already issued apologies for Gandapur's behavior.
The situation has intensified the debate over press freedom and respect for media professionals in Pakistan.
