Imran Khan Halts Reentry of Former PTI Leaders Pending Review by Special Committee

PTI founder Imran Khan has decided to stop the return of leaders who previously left the party. According to sources, a seven-member committee has been formed under Khan's direction to review and decide on the reentry of these leaders.

This committee, headed by Shah Mehmood Qureshi, includes prominent members such as Asad Qaiser, Hamid Khan, Shehryar Afridi, Barrister Gohar, and Shibli Faraz. Shandana Gulzar has also been included in the committee to specifically report on the cases of women and their reasons for leaving the party.

Sources indicate that the committee will thoroughly examine each case and compile a final list of names to be reviewed by Imran Khan, who will make the ultimate decision. However, the party leadership has stipulated that no leader will be allowed to return until Imran Khan is released.

The decision underscores the PTI's intent to carefully scrutinize and manage the reentry of former members, ensuring that any decisions align with the party's principles and objectives.
