Imran Khan: No Fourth Meeting Without Judicial Commission

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has issued a stern warning to the government, stating that a fourth round of negotiations will not take place unless a judicial commission is formed within seven days.

Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, PTI’s Barrister Gauhar conveyed Imran Khan’s stance, emphasizing the urgency of the demand. “Imran Khan has said that if the commission is not formed within seven days, there will be no fourth meeting,” Barrister Gauhar stated.

Gauhar criticized Irfan Siddiqui, spokesperson for the government’s negotiation committee, accusing him of delaying the talks. He stressed that the recent meetings were focused on resolving law and order issues and should not be stalled.

“We want to continue negotiations with the government, but our condition remains the formation of a judicial commission. Without this, further discussions would be futile,” he added.

The PTI chairman reiterated the party’s commitment to constructive dialogue, stating that successful negotiations are essential for Pakistan’s progress. “We believe that patience and tolerance are the keys to moving forward. Hasty decisions will not yield results,” Imran Khan reportedly remarked.

Barrister Gauhar also addressed the government’s hesitation, describing it as a “Form 47 government” and urged officials to focus on fruitful negotiations.

Meanwhile, Gauhar clarified reports related to former U.S. President Donald Trump’s upcoming swearing-in ceremony, explaining that invitations for such events are determined by Trump’s election committee and not issued at the official level.

As the deadline looms, all eyes are on the government to see if it will meet PTI’s demand and prevent a breakdown in negotiations.
