POLITICS & POLICY MAKING
The inside details of a meeting between PTI founder Imran Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, and party chairman Barrister Gohar have been revealed following a conversation with Imran Khan's lawyer, Khalid Yusuf Chaudhry.
Speaking to Geo News, Chaudhry provided insight into the discussions held in Adiala Jail, where the three leaders gathered to strategize the way forward for the party.
According to the lawyer, both Ali Amin Gandapur and Barrister Gohar expressed their support for engaging in negotiations. They came to seek Imran Khan’s permission on what matters should be discussed if contact is made with authorities.
Imran Khan responded, emphasizing that negotiations should only be held with those who hold power, signaling that any talks would focus on substantial demands.
Chaudhry further revealed that Imran Khan confirmed the November 24 protest would only conclude if his party’s demands are met, indicating that the protest was likely to persist until significant progress was achieved.
Ali Amin Gandapur also briefed Imran Khan on the preparations for the upcoming protest, showcasing the party's readiness to continue pushing its political agenda despite ongoing challenges.
