An attempt by an Indian surveillance drone to breach Pakistani airspace was successfully thwarted near Bedian Road in Lahore, as Pakistan Rangers and alert citizens opened fire, forcing the drone to flee back across the border.
According to reports, the low-flying drone attempted to infiltrate Pakistani territory but was quickly spotted. In response, Rangers personnel and nearby civilians opened targeted fire, successfully repelling the hostile aerial device.
Footage of the incident has surfaced, showing the drone being fired upon in what appears to be a coordinated and swift defensive action.
Following the incident, citizens expressed strong support for the Pakistan Army and Rangers, vowing to stand united against any act of aggression.
“We are with our forces. No Indian conspiracy will be allowed to succeed,” said a local resident.
The incident has sparked fresh discussion on border security and surveillance threats, but it also reaffirmed the public’s solidarity with Pakistan’s defense forces, especially in the face of repeated provocations.
