Indian Sikh pilgrims have arrived in Pakistan to visit several sacred sites, including Nankana Sahib, Hasan Abdal, and Kartarpur. The leader of the Sikh group, Gurabjit Singh, expressed deep appreciation for the love and hospitality extended by Pakistan, saying, "We really want to come to Pakistan again and again and perform religious rituals."

Singh commended the warmth and affection they received, highlighting the positive relations between the two nations: "The love and affection received from Pakistan is admirable. I want the love of both countries to remain like this."

Provincial Minority Affairs Minister Ramesh Singh Arora warmly welcomed the 962 Sikh pilgrims from India. Speaking to the media, Arora emphasized the significance of their visit, stating, "The Sikh yatrees are the crown on our head."

Arora announced that the main event of the death anniversary of Guru Arjan Dev Singh is scheduled for June 16, ensuring that robust security arrangements are in place for the Sikh pilgrims. "Taking care of Sikh pilgrims is our responsibility," he asserted.

Highlighting Pakistan's dedication to religious freedom, Arora stated, "Minorities in Pakistan have full religious freedom." This sentiment underscores the country's commitment to fostering an environment of religious tolerance and mutual respect.

The visit of the Sikh pilgrims is a testament to the enduring cultural and spiritual connections between India and Pakistan, further strengthened by the shared reverence for sacred sites and the welcoming hospitality extended by Pakistan.
