Internal Rifts Emerge in MQM as Leadership Seeks Action Against Troublemakers

Karachi: The internal differences within the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) appear to be intensifying as the party leadership announced strict action against workers causing disturbances.

During a key meeting chaired by Dr. Farooq Sattar, notable absentees included senior figures Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Mustafa Kamal. Dr. Sattar emphasized that MQM is fully capable of resolving internal conflicts and maintaining its democratic traditions.

Party Denies Internal Differences
Despite these developments, an MQM spokesperson refuted reports of internal divisions, labeling them as false narratives aimed at spreading chaos. The spokesperson accused "mischievous elements" of attempting to divide the party's ranks and undermine its unity.

Leadership Urges Unity
Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui assured party workers that Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori has the full confidence of the MQM leadership. He condemned the spread of fabricated news and pledged to take action against individuals responsible for recent disturbances.

Mustafa Kamal, who visited the MQM center after the incident, maintained a positive tone, urging the party to focus on solving Karachi's problems. "Positions are not important; our target is to serve the people," he asserted.

Call for Unity Amid Challenges
The MQM leadership has urged its workers to stay united and resist divisive tactics. The party remains committed to addressing the issues facing the people of Karachi and Hyderabad, emphasizing the need for collective action over personal rivalries.
