Islamabad High Court Dismisses Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi's Pleas in Tosha Khana Case

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has rejected the pleas of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, to declare their arrests in the Tosha Khana case illegal. A bench comprising Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb and Justice Babar Sattar heard the petitions, ultimately dismissing them as ineffective. The court also dismissed the petitions challenging the call-up notices issued in relation to the Tosha Khana reference.

In a related development, the court granted Imran Khan's request for documents in the £190 million case, and the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) submitted records pertaining to the closure of the Al-Qadir Trust case. Although the PTI founder’s legal team received a copy of the closure documents, the court lifted the injunction against the final judgment in the £190 million case.

This ruling marks another legal setback for the former prime minister and his wife as they continue to face multiple legal challenges.
