The Karachi administration has officially approved the establishment of cattle markets at five different locations across the city in preparation for Eidul Azha.

According to officials, the decision has been taken to facilitate citizens in purchasing sacrificial animals while ensuring proper organization and management of livestock markets. The selected sites will help reduce traffic congestion and maintain better hygiene and security arrangements.

Authorities have directed that all cattle markets must follow strict guidelines, including proper waste disposal, provision of clean water, veterinary services, and security measures. Special arrangements will also be made to ensure smooth traffic flow around the markets.
