The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government is considering contacting tech magnate Elon Musk regarding the province’s ongoing internet speed issues, which have severely impacted the IT sector.
Special Assistant to the KP government, Shafqat Ayaz, revealed that the provincial administration is exploring avenues to reach out to Elon Musk, as well as other relevant figures, to seek assistance in improving the internet infrastructure in the region. The government believes that collaboration with influential personalities could help resolve the ongoing internet connectivity crisis.
Ayaz explained that the slow internet speed is causing significant disruption in the IT sector, although the exact reasons behind the issue remain unclear. He emphasized that while the internet problem is evident, its causes have yet to be pinpointed, and the government is actively seeking solutions to address the matter.
The provincial government’s efforts to tackle internet-related challenges reflect the growing concern over the impact of slow internet speeds on business and education, as well as other digital activities in the province.
