CRIME

Three years after Priya Kumari was abducted from Sangrar, her family remains in anguish as the search for her continues with no resolution in sight. Priya's mother, Raveena Kumari, has publicly expressed her frustration in a heartfelt video statement, noting the passing of the 10th of Muharram—a significant day that was marked with her daughter's continued absence.
In her video plea, Raveena Kumari lamented the ongoing lack of progress in her daughter’s case, stating, "I kept looking at the door every day with the hope of my daughter's return, but my daughter was not returned. I am begging the government to release my daughter. Please participate in the dharna in Karachi and be my voice."
The situation has sparked local protests, with the local panchayat organizing a demonstration in front of the Dharamshala to call for Priya Kumari’s recovery. Leaders from the Hindu community and citizens from Putta, Panuaqal, Bagarji, and surrounding areas have joined forces in the protest, demanding immediate action from authorities.
The continued disappearance of Priya Kumari has drawn attention to broader issues of abduction and missing persons in the region, prompting calls for government intervention and public support to ensure her safe return.
