Nawaz Sharif Directs PML-N to Expand Party Membership Ahead of Local Elections

Former Prime Minister and President of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), Nawaz Sharif, has instructed district presidents to intensify efforts to expand the party's membership across all levels.

 

The decision was made during a recent meeting where Nawaz Sharif emphasized the need for a robust organizational structure from union councils to ward levels. District presidents have been mandated to ensure thorough organization and inclusion of dedicated party workers.

 

Sources within the party revealed that Nawaz Sharif intends to hold regular meetings with divisional and district presidents starting this month to oversee the progress of the organizational drive. The directive includes prioritizing active and committed members for key roles within the party.

 

Furthermore, preparations are underway to nominate active workers for party tickets in the upcoming local elections, underscoring PML-N's strategy to strengthen its grassroots support ahead of electoral contests.
