New Political Alliance Formed by ANP, National Party, and Others to Address Balochistan Issues

Awami National Party (ANP) President Aimal Wali announced the formation of a new political alliance alongside National Party President Dr. Malik Baloch, Pashtunkhwa National Party chief Kushal Khan Kakar, Hazara Democratic Party Chairman Abdul Khaliq Hazara, and representatives from other political parties.

 

Also present at the occasion were Senator Maulana Abdul Wasey of the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI-F) and National Democratic Movement (NDM) President Ahmed Jan Khan.

 

Senator Wali stated, "Forming another political alliance is the need of the hour." He emphasized that the proposed alliance would not only identify Balochistan's issues but also work towards resolving them through consensus among political parties and by gaining the support of the masses.

 

Following a joint meeting of the six political parties, it was decided to form the new alliance. A six-member committee has been tasked with initiating the process and finalizing the modalities for the proposed alliance. Senator Aimal Wali Khan highlighted that the alliance aims to address provincial and national-level problems faced by the country through a movement focused on empowering the people and upholding the Constitution.

 

He emphasized that the alliance's activities would commence in Balochistan before expanding to other parts of the country. The movement, he clarified, is not aimed at electoral outcomes or targeting specific political parties but seeks to liberate Pakistan from oppression and ensure the rights of its citizens.

 

Senator Wali expressed concerns over the seizure of resources under the guise of security and the issue of missing persons affecting the Baloch and Pashtun populations. He affirmed the alliance's commitment to addressing these issues without compromise.

 

The formation of this new political alliance signals a concerted effort to address the challenges faced by Balochistan and signifies a united front among various political entities in pursuit of common goals.
