Rawalpindi: A scheduled meeting day for PTI founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail concluded without any visitors, as no party leaders, lawyers, or family members arrived to meet him.
Tuesday and Thursday are designated days for meetings with Imran Khan, as per the jail manual. However, today saw no one from the negotiation committee, legal team, or his family make their way to the prison.
Imran Khan’s lawyer, Faisal Chaudhry, revealed that the negotiation committee had not yet received permission for a meeting, preventing them from visiting. Despite this, party leaders and lawyers are known to visit the jail regardless of permission, but none were present today.
Jail sources confirmed that the allotted time for meetings has officially ended for the day. The lack of visitors has raised questions among PTI supporters, as the day-to-day updates on Imran Khan’s legal battles remain a focal point for the party.
