Pakistan Sets England a Daunting 297-Run Target as Spinners Strike Early on Day Three

Pakistan has given England a challenging target of 297 runs after key performances from middle-order batsman Salman Agha, who scored 63, and spinner Sajid, who added 22 runs in a crucial ninth-wicket stand.

England struggled against Pakistan's spinners, with Sajid dismissing Ben Duckett for a duck and Noman Ali sending Zak Crawley back for just three, leaving the visitors at 36-2 by the end of day three.

Ollie Pope and Joe Root remain unbeaten, with 261 runs still needed for victory and two days left to play.
Earlier in the day, England's spinners Shoaib Bashir (4-66) and Jack Leach (3-67) had Pakistan on the ropes, but dropped catches cost them, allowing Agha to capitalize and push Pakistan to a competitive second-innings total.

Brydon Carse eventually dismissed Agha, while Matthew Potts wrapped up the innings by removing Sajid. Pakistan, trailing the three-match series 1-0 after losing the first Test in Multan, will now look to their bowlers to secure a comeback victory.
