Peshawar High Court Grants Bail to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Gandapur Amid Protests

The Peshawar High Court has granted transitory bail to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur until October 25 in connection with two cases registered against him in Islamabad. This decision comes as Gandapur prepares for a significant protest at D-Chowk in Islamabad, aligning with his party’s ongoing campaign for what they term "real freedom."

Speaking to the media, Gandapur reiterated his determination to lead the protest at D-Chowk unless explicitly instructed otherwise by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Founder Imran Khan. “We will not stop until there is an order from the founder,” he stated, urging citizens to join the movement aimed at defending the constitution.

Background of the Case:

Gandapur had filed a petition in the Peshawar High Court due to concerns over potential arrest stemming from the cases against him in Islamabad. The petition highlighted his intention to appear in court while expressing fears of arrest.

Earlier in a televised interview, Gandapur assured that the preparations for the protest were complete and asserted that the event would remain peaceful. However, he warned that any acts of violence would lead to serious consequences for those involved. "The order of our founding leader is a red line for me," he emphasized, stating that he should not be approached for any negotiations.

Commitment to the Cause:

Gandapur affirmed his resolve to proceed to Islamabad regardless of the circumstances. "Even if I am left alone, I will move ahead," he stressed, reinforcing his commitment to the PTI's agenda.
