PM Shahbaz Hosts Luncheon for Tri-Nation T20 Cricket Teams

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif hosted a luncheon at the Prime Minister’s House in honor of the cricket teams of Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe, participating in the ongoing tri-nation T20 series.

During the event, the Prime Minister met the players and lauded the passion, skill, and dedication shown by the visiting teams. He highlighted that the continuous hosting of international cricket in Pakistan reflects the country’s peace and stability.

The Prime Minister also praised the arrangements made under the leadership of PCB Chairman Syed Mohsin Naqvi, calling them exemplary.

The luncheon was attended by prominent leaders including Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Interior Minister and PCB Chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, as well as Sri Lankan High Commissioner Rear Admiral Fred Seneviratne and Zimbabwean High Commissioner Titus Abu Basuto.

It is noteworthy that Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe by 5 wickets in the opening match of the series yesterday, setting a strong tone for the tri-nation tournament.
