A group of 10 to 12 terrorists launched a coordinated attack on a police check post in Taunsa, using rocket launchers and advanced weaponry. However, police forces successfully repelled the assault, forcing the assailants to flee.

Fifth Attack in a Month

According to Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sajjad Hassan Khan, the Lakhani check post, located on the Punjab-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa border, has been a repeated target. This marks the fifth terrorist attack this month that police have successfully foiled.
