POLITICS & POLICY MAKING

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Azam Swati has revealed that the party’s founder has ordered the immediate withdrawal of all appointments made by Junaid Akbar.
Speaking after a meeting with the PTI founder, Azam Swati stated that he briefed him about corruption issues in Mansehra and concerns regarding party matters in Punjab.
Concerns Over Party Appointments and Internal Issues
Swati claimed that Aaliya Hamza’s progress in Punjab is being obstructed, and he shared these concerns with the party’s founder.
Meanwhile, PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja responded to Swati’s statements, saying that he will discuss the matter directly with Junaid Akbar. He emphasized that:
“If there is any issue in Punjab, it can be discussed. There is no internal conflict in PTI—small issues continue to be resolved.”
PTI’s Internal Adjustments Continue
The party leadership appears to be addressing internal challenges and disputes, ensuring that concerns about corruption and political appointments are handled swiftly. However, leaders insist that such adjustments are a routine part of party management.
