Pir Pagaro Warns of Escalating Inflation and Water Shortages, Urges Agriculture Adaptation and Support for Pakistan Army

Pirjogahot — On the third day of Eid-ul-Fitr, the revered spiritual leader of the Harran, Pir Pagaro, addressed his followers and devotees from across the country, delivering a powerful message about the nation's economic challenges, especially regarding inflation and water shortages.
In his address, Pir Pagaro cautioned that inflation in the country would continue to rise, leading to economic hardship. He also warned that livestock would be sold off as a result of the ongoing economic pressures. He mentioned that for some time now, he had been advising his followers about an impending shortage of water, emphasizing that landowners would struggle to water their crops. He encouraged farmers to manage land according to the season and suggested the cultivation of vegetables as a way to mitigate the challenges posed by climate changes. He pointed out the lack of awareness among agriculture workers about environmental shifts, raising concerns about how they could adapt without proper knowledge.
Global and National Concerns:
Pir Pagaro also touched upon broader geopolitical issues, stating that Muslims are facing oppression worldwide, highlighting that only the Pakistan Army is bearing the brunt of terrorism within the country. He lamented that politicians were not offering sufficient support to the military in its ongoing fight against extremism.
The spiritual leader also emphasized the economic strain on farmers, especially those cultivating wheat and millet, warning that they would become debtor farmers, mortgaging their lands due to rising costs and dwindling resources. He urged his followers to educate their children, protect them from bad influences, and maintain strong community ties.
A Call for Unity and Support:
Pir Pagaro concluded his message by urging the people to care for their neighbors, emphasizing the importance of unity and mutual support. He also stressed the need to support the Pakistan Army, saying, “The army is ours, and we belong to the army.” This call for solidarity, particularly in the face of national challenges, resonated deeply with his followers, who gathered to hear his wisdom during the Eid celebrations.
With his guidance, Pir Pagaro continues to offer both spiritual and practical advice to the people of Sindh and beyond, urging them to prepare for the uncertain times ahead while maintaining faith and resilience.
