PTI Lawyer Faisal Chaudhry Arrested Outside Adiala Jail

Faisal Chaudhry, legal counsel for PTI founder Imran Khan, was arrested outside Adiala Jail for allegedly abusing a jail officer.

According to police sources, the incident occurred when Chaudhry had a confrontation with jail officer Imran Riaz. The lawyer was reportedly angered after being prevented from entering the facility to meet his client.

Chaudhry has since been transferred to the Adiala Jail post, with additional Rawalpindi police personnel deployed outside the premises.

Confrontation Incident

Speaking to the media before his arrest, Faisal Chaudhry claimed the incident took place at the inner gate of the jail. "A notice has been issued regarding the matter today, and the court orders were even sent to the jail superintendent on WhatsApp," he explained.

Chaudhry further alleged that the video of the incident was released by individuals aligned with "hidden elements." He defended his stance, saying, "My only fault is that I narrated the founder PTI’s message outside."

Police Statement

Police sources confirmed that Faisal Chaudhry was taken into custody following his verbal altercation with the jail officer. Authorities indicated that the situation escalated due to Chaudhry's "abusive language" toward the officer.
