Sharjeel Inam Memon Demands Resignation of Sindh Governor Kamran Tesuri, Criticizes MQM Leadership

Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has called for the immediate resignation of Sindh Governor Kamran Tesuri, citing MQM’s responsibility for many of the province's issues. During a press conference with provincial minister Nasir Hussain Shah, Memon criticized the MQM leadership and their recent statements against the PPP.

Addressing the media in Karachi, Memon accused MQM leaders of using inflammatory rhetoric against Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and the PPP. He asserted that MQM's current leadership is more interested in political theatrics than addressing grassroots issues, noting that Muttahida is barely visible at the UC level today.

Memon condemned MQM chief Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui for his harsh remarks against Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, stating, "Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto has been very important for this country. In the 75-year history of Pakistan, if PPP is removed, nothing will be left behind." He emphasized that it is shameful to accuse Bhutto of dividing the country and demanded an apology from MQM for their unfounded allegations.

Memon's statements came in response to Siddiqui's recent press conference in Karachi, where he criticized the Sindh High Court's decision to cancel 54,000 jobs in various departments and made derogatory comments about the PPP founder.

Sharjeel Memon highlighted that people are tired of hateful and prejudiced talk, and accused the MQM of trying to divert attention from their own failings by attacking the PPP. He reiterated that the MQM's baseless accusations and divisive politics are no longer acceptable to the public.
