Lower Kurram: Police and security forces have arrested 30 individuals, including 18 terrorists, in a joint operation across Lower Kurram. Additionally, 12 facilitators have also been detained as part of an intensified crackdown on terrorist networks in the region.

Security Operations & Arrests

The joint operation, conducted in Bagan, Charkhel, Dad Qamar, and Mandori, targeted militants involved in looting over 30 trucks and setting 19 trucks on fire. Authorities are conducting further raids in Kurram, Orakzai, and Kohat to apprehend more suspects.

Government Orders Evacuations

Amid worsening security, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has ordered the evacuation of four villagesUcheh, Mandori, Dadkamar, and Bagan—to conduct full-scale search operations against armed elements.

A high-level government meeting has decided to:
Ensure public safety through proactive measures
Place bounties on the heads of key accused
Continue demolishing illegal bunkers194 bunkers have been removed so far

🚧 The Parachinar-Til highway has been shut for 142 days, severely impacting daily life:
