Security Forces Eliminate 13 Khawarij in KP Operations

Security forces killed 13 Khawarij in five separate operations across various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The operations were conducted in DI Khan, North Waziristan, Lakki Marwat, and Khyber district, targeting militants involved in attacks on security forces and civilians.

Operations Across Multiple Districts

The ISPR detailed the successful results of these operations:

  1. DI Khan (Kalachi Area):
    • 5 Khawarij were killed, including Shah Gul alias Rouhani, a key militant leader.
    • The operation was based on intelligence reports.
  2. North Waziristan (Dosali & Tapi):
    • Security forces neutralized 5 militants during intense clashes.
  3. Lakki Marwat:
    • 2 militants were killed in an exchange of fire.
  4. Khyber District (Bagh Area):
    • 1 militant was killed during the operation.

Militants Involved in Attacks on Security Forces

The ISPR confirmed that the slain militants were responsible for numerous attacks targeting security forces and innocent civilians. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the militants' hideouts.

“The security forces remain committed to eliminating the menace of terrorism from the country,” the ISPR statement added.

PM Shahbaz Sharif Praises Security Forces

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif commended the forces for their professionalism and operational success.

“The entire nation stands with the Pakistan Army in its war against terrorism. We will continue this fight until the last terrorist is eliminated,” he said.

The Prime Minister reiterated the government's resolve to ensure peace and security across Pakistan.
