Khyber district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Pakistani Army has reported the killing of 25 terrorists. The operation, based on secret intelligence, led to the martyrdom of four soldiers and the injury of 11 additional terrorists.

 

According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation targeted terrorists linked to the extremist group Fitna Khawarij. Among those killed was Abu Zarraf Saddam, a foreign leader of the terrorist group. The operation marks a substantial success in the ongoing fight against extremism in the region.

 

The security forces, while achieving significant progress, also faced heavy casualties. The loss of four soldiers underscores the ongoing risks and challenges faced by the military in combating terrorism. Despite these challenges, the operation has been noted for its strategic success and the notable reduction in terrorist activity in the area.

 

ISPR’s statement highlighted the continued commitment of the Pakistan Army to counterterrorism efforts and the significant progress being made in eliminating extremist threats.
