The Bolan Mail, traveling from Karachi to Quetta, has been stopped in Jacobabad due to security concerns, railway officials confirmed on Wednesday. The train will now be sent onward tomorrow morning once clearance is granted.
Meanwhile, the daily departure of the Bolan Mail from Quetta to Karachi remains suspended as Pakistan Railways faces a shortage of additional coaches.
Railway Officials Address Service Disruptions
Officials have clarified that while the train remains halted for security reasons, the shortage of coaches is causing further disruptions in service.
“Due to a lack of additional coaches, it is difficult to ensure the daily departure of the Bolan Mail from Quetta to Karachi for at least a week,” said a railway spokesperson.
Passengers traveling on the Karachi-Quetta route are advised to stay updated on possible delays and changes in train schedules.
