Repatriation Process of Afghan Refugees Slows After Deadline

The repatriation of Afghan refugees has significantly slowed down after the official deadline for their return expired. While efforts continue, only 5 families, consisting of 105 people, have been able to return over the three days of Eid.

Efforts Ongoing in Landi Kotal and Bab Dosti

At the Landi Kotal camp, the process of repatriation is still underway, though the pace has been much slower than anticipated. Simultaneously, preparations are being made at the Bab Dosti border for the return of Afghan citizens.

As part of the process, NADRA will handle biometric verification for Afghan citizens at the Bab Dosti camp, ensuring proper documentation as they return home.

The repatriation efforts are ongoing, and authorities are working to facilitate the safe return of refugees.
