Preliminary results of the Sindh High Court Bar Association (SHCBA) elections have been announced, revealing a close contest for the top posts.
Haseeb Jamali has emerged as the new President of the SHCBA, securing 2,679 votes, narrowly defeating Sarfaraz Mitlu, who garnered 2,604 votes.
In the race for General Secretary, Farida Mangreev won the position, surpassing the current Secretary, Mirza Sarfaraz Ahmed, who finished second.
The elections reflect the active engagement of the legal community in Sindh, with members emphasizing democratic processes within the bar association. Official results are expected to be confirmed in the coming days.
