Lahore Police Arrest Six PTI Lawyers During Protest at GPO Chowk

Lahore police arrested six lawyers associated with the party at GPO Chowk on Saturday. The demonstration was part of PTI's broader campaign to express grievances against the government.

 

The situation intensified as police deployed tear gas to disperse protesters who had gathered outside the Aiwan-e-Adl. A significant number of PTI workers and lawyers were present at the scene, and tensions rose as law enforcement began arresting demonstrators.

 

The arrested lawyers were involved in the protest when they were taken into custody following a brief standoff with police. Demonstrators chanted slogans against the government, but their efforts were met with a crackdown as police fired tear gas to clear the area.

 

PTI senior leader Salman Akram Raja was also present during the protests. He managed to leave the scene in a car just before police began their actions against the protesting lawyers and PTI workers.
