Karampur witnessed a disturbing incident as nine laborers were abducted by armed men while collecting firewood near the Naparkot police station limits.
A laborer who managed to escape the kidnapping has identified the abductees as Deedar Malik, Nizam, Hazaro, Huzur Bakhsh, Imam Bakhsh, Hafeez Malik, Sohail Sheikh, Ramzan, and Juma Chachar.
According to the survivor, the group had gone to the area to gather firewood when they were ambushed by armed men who forcibly took nine individuals with them.

The surviving laborer made a video appeal that has since gone viral on social media. In the video, he urgently demands that drone strikes in the slum be halted and that the authorities ensure the immediate release of the abducted laborers.
