No Compromise on Peace in Balochistan: CM Sarfaraz Bugti

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti has reiterated that there will be no compromise on peace in Balochistan, vowing that the sacrifices of martyrs will not go in vain and that every drop of blood will be accounted for.

The chief minister visited the site of a recent bomb blast in Quetta, where he reviewed the security situation and received a detailed briefing from officials. He praised the police and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) for their prompt and effective response, calling their actions commendable.

“The timely response against terrorist elements is praiseworthy. Anti-state elements will not be forgiven under any circumstances,” Bugti said, adding that peace in Balochistan remains a top priority.

The chief minister revealed that terrorists linked to Fitna‑ul‑Hindustan attempted to carry out attacks in multiple areas earlier in the day. However, the Balochistan Police and Frontier Corps (FC) successfully foiled all attempts.

He said the state would continue its operations until the complete elimination of terrorism. “The state will not rest until the last terrorist is eliminated,” Bugti asserted, noting that more than 700 terrorists have been neutralised in Balochistan over the past 12 months, while 70 terrorists were killed during security operations in just the last two days.

Later, CM Sarfaraz Bugti, accompanied by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, met the families of the martyrs. The chief minister became emotional during the meeting as he expressed solidarity with the bereaved families.

He assured them that the sacrifices of their loved ones would not be forgotten. “This is a great sacrifice for the nation. We promise the families of the martyrs that every drop of blood will be accounted for,” Bugti said.

The chief minister reaffirmed the government’s resolve to eradicate terrorism and restore lasting peace across Balochistan, stressing that security forces would continue their operations with full force and determination.
