POLITICS & POLICY MAKING
Pakistan has strongly condemned the recent actions of Israeli occupation forces and extremist settlers in the occupied West Bank, including raids on the Al-Aqsa Mosque, describing them as violations of international law.
A spokesperson for Pakistan’s Foreign Office issued a statement emphasizing that the repeated incursions and provocative acts targeting worshippers at Al-Aqsa Mosque constitute a clear breach of international law and United Nations resolutions.
The spokesperson stressed that the attacks on the holy site are unacceptable and called on the international community to ensure the protection of sacred sites in line with international law and their historical status.
Pakistan reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Palestinian people and urged global stakeholders to take immediate measures to uphold the sanctity of Islamic holy sites and prevent further escalation of tensions in the region.
