Pakistan Reiterates Support for Yemen’s Unity, Expresses Solidarity with Saudi Arabia

Pakistan has expressed deep concern over the renewed escalation of violence in Yemen and reiterated its full support for Yemen’s unity and territorial integrity.

A spokesperson for the Foreign Office said Pakistan supports all efforts aimed at ensuring lasting peace and stability in Yemen, while strongly opposing unilateral actions by any party in the country. Such actions, the spokesperson added, could further escalate tensions, undermine peace initiatives, and jeopardize regional security.

Pakistan welcomed regional efforts to reduce tensions and maintain peace in Yemen, while expressing full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and reaffirming its commitment to the security of the Kingdom. “The security of Saudi Arabia is vital to Pakistan, and all possible cooperation will continue,” the spokesperson stated.

Highlighting the importance of dialogue, the Foreign Office spokesperson emphasized that the Yemen issue should be addressed through diplomatic channels. Pakistan hopes that the people of Yemen, along with regional powers, will work collaboratively towards a comprehensive and lasting solution, as a stable Yemen is crucial for safeguarding regional peace.
