POLITICS & POLICY MAKING
Questions have emerged within Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) regarding party decisions, as the Senate parliamentary party voiced concerns over the reconstitution of the political committee.
In a meeting chaired by Ali Zafar, members highlighted that only the coordinator was given representation from the Senate, which they considered insufficient. They emphasized that higher-level representation from the Senate should be included in the committee to ensure broader participation in decision-making.
The meeting was attended by Raja Nasir Abbas, Aun Abbas, Zeeshan Khanzada, Faisal Javed, Falak Naz, and Fawzia Arshad. In addition to discussing committee representation, the party approved filing a reference seeking the disqualification of Saifullah Abro.
The parliamentary party also reviewed strategies ahead of the upcoming Senate session and decided to seek a meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan through the higher judiciary.
