Pakistani security forces have killed eight terrorists affiliated with the Indian-sponsored group "Fitna-ul-Hindustan" during a series of operations in the Kalat district of Balochistan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The initial intelligence-based operation took place on July 19, where four terrorists were neutralized. Following this, a clearance and sanitization operation was launched on July 21, resulting in the elimination of four more terrorists. These operations are part of Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to dismantle networks threatening national peace and stability.
The ISPR confirmed that a terrorist hideout was destroyed during the mission, and security forces recovered a large cache of modern weaponry, ammunition, and explosives from the scene.
“These terrorists were affiliated with the India-backed network ‘Fitna-ul-Hindustan’, whose cowardly attempts to disrupt peace in Balochistan have once again failed,” the ISPR statement said. “With the unwavering support and determination of the Pakistani nation, security forces will continue their mission to ensure lasting peace and development in the region.”
Tributes from National Leadership
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif commended the bravery and professionalism of the security forces, stating:
“We salute our forces for crushing the nefarious designs of terrorists. The government is fully committed to uprooting terrorism and protecting the integrity of Pakistan.”
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also paid tribute, saying:
“I salute the security forces for sending terrorists to hell. We will eliminate every last member of Fitna-ul-Hindustan from our soil.”
These strong endorsements from national leadership come amid growing concern over foreign-sponsored terrorist networks operating within Pakistan’s borders. The successful Kalat operation is seen as a significant victory in the country’s war against terrorism.
