US President Donald Trump has revealed that he has set a secret deadline for Iran regarding the nuclear deal, warning that failure to comply could lead to significant military action.
Speaking to the media, Trump said that US troop movements in the region have been accelerated in response to the approaching deadline. While he did not disclose the specific timeline, the President emphasized that only he knows the details, expressing hope for a diplomatic resolution. “If Iran does not accept the agreement within the stipulated time, the consequences could be serious,” Trump said.
In a related development, a US missile destroyer has recently docked at the port of Eilat in Israel’s Red Sea city, a move seen by analysts as a precautionary step amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
Iran, however, has firmly stated that it will not reconsider its nuclear and defense programs under any circumstances. The Iranian government maintains that it will not compromise on uranium enrichment, its missile program, or its defense capabilities.
