Case Registered Against PTI MPA Ali Shah for Assaulting Police Officer

A case has been registered against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) provincial assembly member Ali Shah Khan for assaulting a traffic police officer in Swat district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to police reports, the incident occurred in the Road Shahi area, where Ali Shah Khan allegedly slapped and pushed traffic officer Izzat Ali, in what has been described as an abuse of political power.

The police have taken action under sections 500 (defamation), 506 (criminal intimidation), 186 (obstructing public servant), and 353 (assault on public servant) of the Pakistan Penal Code.

The local administration has assured protection for the affected officer and immediate action against the MPA. Police officials emphasized that the law is equal for all and warned that misuse of authority would not be tolerated.

Authorities have also appealed to the public to cooperate in upholding the rule of law to prevent such incidents in the future.
