POLITICS & POLICY MAKING
Governor Sindh Kamran Tesori on Thursday said that negotiations should not be held with individuals who are an obstacle to Pakistan’s development.
Speaking to the media after visiting Mazar-e-Quaid on the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the governor offered Fateha and paid tribute to the Father of the Nation.
Kamran Tesori said that Pakistan had emerged as the most important and powerful country in the region, adding that the nation was fully prepared for an economic battle.
“We are ready for the economic battle, and God willing, we will win it just as we won the war with India,” he said.
The governor claimed that international journals were acknowledging Pakistan’s success while describing India as defeated, saying Pakistan had once again become the centre of global attention. He attributed this achievement to the two-pronged policy and effective military strategy of the Field Marshal, which he said restored Pakistan’s confidence on the world stage.
“Today, the credit for this victory goes to the Field Marshal,” Tesori remarked.
Responding to a question regarding political dialogue, the Sindh governor said that PTI leaders did not accept negotiations. “The person sitting in Adiala is arrogant. Negotiations should not be held with people who are an obstacle to Pakistan’s development,” he said.
Kamran Tesori further said that Pakistan was playing the role of a protector in Saudi Arabia and had, after many years, adopted a clear and firm policy on Afghanistan.
He expressed confidence that 2025 would be written in golden letters in Pakistan’s history, stating that Pakistan had been declared a victorious nation globally and was now taking long-overdue decisions aimed at economic growth.
