PM Shahbaz Sharif Reaffirms Commitment to Minority Rights at Christmas Ceremony

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on [insert date] assured Pakistan’s minority communities that any act of injustice or abuse against them will be addressed with the full force of the law.

Speaking at a Christmas ceremony in Islamabad, the Prime Minister emphasized his government’s dedication to protecting the rights of minorities, cutting a Christmas cake as part of the celebrations.

“Following the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, all minorities, including Hindus, Christians, and Sikhs, enjoy religious freedom in Pakistan,” he said. “The country belongs to all of us. Everyone has equal rights, and no abuse against minorities will be tolerated.”

Highlighting national unity, PM Shahbaz also recalled the heroics of Air Commodore Cecil Chaudhry in May, when the Pakistani army, led by Field Marshal, downed seven Indian aircraft, noting that the nation continues to honor his bravery.

The ceremony reflects the government’s ongoing efforts to foster inclusivity and ensure the protection of all citizens, irrespective of their religious beliefs.
