The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, has instructed the party leadership to form an alliance of opposition parties, signaling a new phase of political strategy for the party. To discuss this alliance, a PTI delegation led by former National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser is set to meet Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), today.

Meeting to Discuss Opposition Strategy

The meeting, which will take place at Maulana Fazlur Rehman's residence, is expected to cover crucial political and parliamentary matters. The two parties, PTI and JUI-F, are reportedly looking to advance their common points and discuss a unified strategy for opposing the current government. The PTI delegation will include prominent leaders like Omar Ayub, Sahibzada Hamid Raza, and others, marking the importance of this political dialogue.

Agenda of the Movement for the Protection of the Constitution

During the meeting, both parties will deliberate on the agenda of the Movement for the Protection of the Constitution of Pakistan, a movement aimed at safeguarding the constitutional rights and parliamentary processes. Sahibzada Hamid Raza of PTI has also confirmed that Maulana Fazlur Rehman will be invited to join the movement and become part of the efforts to defend Pakistan's constitution.

Strengthening Opposition Unity

In a recent development, PTI leader Hussain Yousafzai met Maulana Fazlur Rehman on the previous day, where he conveyed the message of Imran Khan regarding the alliance and the need for opposition unity. The meetings indicate PTI's increasing efforts to strengthen alliances within the opposition parties, as they work together to present a stronger, unified front in Parliament.

The upcoming discussions are expected to set the tone for the opposition’s future strategy, with the goal of challenging the ruling government and advocating for constitutional reforms.
